The Go-To Guide For Interviewing

Before any interview you need to complete a mental checklist of things to be done. This is essential for a cohesive and complete profile of what your client requires.
First things first ya' need to be prepared, Question Style. Organise the information that you've already got create appropriate questions to fill in any gaps. Off the cuff questions aren't going to cut it, and'll make for a shallow and basic profile. See if you can jumble open and closed questions together and sneakily ask the same questions through different words try to catch that bad-boy out!
Make sure you're dressed right too, don't turn up to a nice brunch in Jumeriah in your "Lucky Jammies", be professional and suit up where necessary. Cologne is something that can be used to your advantage, but don't go all "Chemical Warfare", couple of squirts is all you need.
Once you've conducted your rendez-vu and questioned them till you turn blue, you should take notes of what transpired and sent a copy to the client to verify if, that is what he really wants. Nothing sucks more than re-doing work so make sure you're as specific as you can. Provide the client with examples of what you think they may be looking for to see if your on the same page, so you know what to stick to.

So, after following such wonderful advice, you should be well on your way to economic success, and it's all thanks to this handy little guide!
Below is a clip from one of my favourite films of how you should be interviewed. It's phenomenal, watch and learn children. Watch and learn.

  1. Another fantastic post Josh. I can tell that you have included references to the theory covered in today's lesson which for me is FANTASTIC. Again, you have added a personal touch to your post whilst providing useful and accurate information. The video clip, although not completely relevant, is also one my favourites as I am a massive Will Ferrel fan.
