CPUsed To It.

Okay, so my computer is a tad old (for a laptop anyway). I provide it with the best software i can get for free and keep the insides squeaky clean and organised. It's like a sandcastle on the beach, great, but i can't move it without it falling apart.

To the unaware onlooker, it looks like a normal healthy computer, an incorrect diagnosis; it's recent characteristics are more like a leper.
A screw here and a screw there and boom, out pops the DVD drive mid Ghost Rider.

At first it was kind of cutesy, like "Oh, haha, oops you silly ol' thing, you!"
Now, it just makes Top Gear feel like the Italian Job. It's Cliffhanger freakin' city.

The DVD drive isn't the only thing that likes to slide out now and again *no innuendo intended*. The hard drive sometimes fancies a breather on occasion which is great when trying to crack out a Geoggers homework. It actually helps blur the lines between the earthquakes i'm writing about and what's going on around me. I can never be sure if my blue screen is from a passing tremor or my Laptop's just crapped out it's entire memory.
Either way, someones screwed.
It's usually me.
Okay, it's only ever me.

Since a new computer ain't near the horizon i'll just have to get used to it..
Now if you'll excuse me, i'm off to watch Blackadder till i laugh my drives out

  2. Got to give the boy 10/10 for trying. However, I went for a 'drive' to 'process' my thoughts, listened to the birds 'twitter' and decided to 'RAM' my hard earned cash back in my wallet. Improvise son, improvise - a could life skill to have. It's great being a dad!
